First Ever Google Hangout with Holocaust Survivor

The first ever real-time Google Hangout with a Holocaust Survivor of Dachau will be live Sunday, July 29th 2012 at noon PST and streamed to YouTube. 88 year old Dr. Jack Brauns will be taking questions via twitter hashtag #TheMosaicOfLife responding to tweets live, discussing how to overcome adversity and tools to improve happiness and success.

This rare opportunity to communicate via the web or even an Iphone, Ipad, or an android device with one of the few remaining holocaust survivors will be available via Google Hangout. Questions asked or answers given during Dr. Brauns Google Hangout may be included in the upcoming feature length documentary based on his story, THE MOSAIC OF LIFE, directed by his daughter, award winning filmmaker, Alicia Brauns.

THE MOSAIC OF LIFE will depict Dr. Brauns’ extraordinary life and positive philosophies. The documentary will show the vivid and unpredictable ways that Dr. Brauns chooses to “color his internal and exterior worlds” turning what could have been a bleak, fearful and black perspective into a beautiful existence.

As part of the documentary, Dr. Jack Brauns would like return to Dachau Concentration camp to reveal how he survived and to share his experiences of a sliver of kindness he received from a few German SS Officers who saved his life and his father’s life.

The project is currently raising funds via crowd funding in order to record this crucial segment of his story.
