BALTIMORE – (July 9, 2012) – On November 4, 2008 one man’s rise to leadership marked a remarkable day in American history. Barack Obama became the first African-American president on that fateful day and helped make possible what others before him could only aspire to achieve. Author Noor F Amin traces and celebrates the life and legacy of one of today’s most influential men in his compelling book, “A Dream Come True”.

Martin Luther King, Jr. once shared his dream of having his children live in a nation “where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Hope that this dream would become reality manifested when Obama was given the responsibility of presidency. To Amin, this was only the beginning of many great things to come. He shares the reason for writing the book,

“Barack Obama is at the top of the list of the most inspirational people in my life. I want to go to Harvard Law School like him. The first time I saw him on television, I knew that this man would achieve greatness. He gave hope to millions of people. He promised his nation that he would bring change. This was something that everyone had been waiting for. I believe Barack Obama is one of the greatest leaders America has ever had.”

As the author follows Obama’s journey—from his birth in Hawaii to his admission in Harvard Law School to his venture into politics— he also offers hope and encouragement to others who share his dream of having a country that accepts and promotes equality. He intersperses biographical insights with inspiring speeches and words of former leaders resulting in a work that is both informative and thought-provoking.

Although only 17 years old, Amin’s passions and dreams for his country is a remarkable example that readers can follow. “A Dream Come True” is a compelling chronicle of the life of President Obama and, more importantly, a trove of insights and inspiration for others who, like Amin, want to promote positive change.
