On Saturday August 4th 2012, along with The UNESCO, Sephora and Donald J Pliner, Swell Attitude is one of the official sponsors of Mélange 2012, a celebration of Arts that blends fashion, music, theater and dance. This year event that is set to take place at The Regency Center Grand Ballroom, San Francisco, will feature among others, new designs from Versace Collection and Thierry Mugler. Based in San Francisco, Swell Attitude offers local, national, and international men’s fashion therapy services including custom tailoring, image/wardrobe consulting, escorted shopping excursions.

Many men today struggle to find their personal sense of style. Shopping can be a chore and finding the right look for the right occasion can be a challenge. But the fashion design team at Swell Attitude in San Francisco intends to change all of that by offering men a methodical process and online questionnaire that can actually help them determine a wardrobe that matches their lifestyle and personality.

According to Jerry Folly-Kossi, CEO and Founder of Swell Attitude, “We consider ourselves fashion therapists and not fashion consultants. We not only take into consideration a man’s build, skin tone, hair color, and traditional measurements, but we take a deeper look at his personality, aspirations, and dreams.” What celebrities do you admire? What kind of car do you drive? What music do you listen to? What is your favorite cocktail? Folly-Kossi believes that the answers to these questions can help his team craft the perfect wardrobe for just about any man. “A gentleman who sips Martinis usually prefers to dress differently than one who likes shots of tequila,” he says.

Folly-Kossi, the grandson of a famous tailor to heads of state, has always had an eye for fashion. From an early age, he was obsessed with matching textures and colors in his own wardrobe and as he became an adult, he developed a passion for fine clothing and developed his own signature style. Colleagues and friends took notice and often came to Folly-Kossi for advice. Ultimately, this led to Folly-Kossi founding Swell Attitude in San Francisco, which is now a world-renowned fashion therapy service and designer/producer of men’s clothing.

Swell Attitude’s Creative Director and Co-Founder, Khan Kanga, leads the creative/production team comprised of expert tailors, stylists and designers. He uses information taken from the consultation and personality test to craft the perfect wardrobe for a client, including suits, dress shirts, sport coats, blazers, and slacks. Kanga says, “Our mission is to help men discover their own inner sense of style and to reflect that in their wardrobe. Whether you’re at a business meeting, cocktail party, or just enjoying a casual day off, if you feel good about what you’re wearing, you’ll look great to everyone else.”
