London, England (PRWEB) July 11, 2012
As technology continues to warp and fragment traditional approaches to branding, the newly launched brandperfect.org provides a space for debate and collaborative thinking for anyone who believes that a customer’s direct experiences with a brand are of more importance than a memorable logo or killer ad campaign.
The site features articles and case studies from multi-disciplinary contributors, and will host regular live discussions for its community, as well as collating research, materials and special reports from The Brand Perfect Tour.
brandperfect.org launches in beta on 11 July. It was conceived by Monotype and Fjord, designed by Fjord and built by Implere and IS. The site will be edited by Neil Ayres, who has worked previously for D&AD, Creative Review and Design Week.
Live Debate, 2pm British Summertime, Wednesday 11 July
The site launches with a live debate, “Web vs. Apps,” featuring leaders from the branding and development communities who will deliberate what the Web does well that apps can only hope to emulate, and vice versa. Panellists will be Sony Music Entertainment’s Darin Soler, who drove the brand’s recent Spotify and iOS apps, and NET-A-PORTER’s Group Mobile Manager Sarah Watson, and Pascal Auberson, owner and Technical Director of Specialmoves, one of London’s premiere creative technology companies, whose recent work includes development for Kaiser Chiefs, Nokia and Smirnoff.

About Brand Perfect
Brand Perfect has been conceived as an industry-led movement bringing together brands with the creative, design and development professionals that support them. In doing so it seeks to define the best methods available for creating consistent brand experiences, regardless of the platform.
The Brand Perfect Manifesto:
--Learn what brands need from agencies and technology, helping to convey this to the wider technology industry and standards bodies
--Provide brands with insight through specific industry research
--Reduce the complexity of designing and implementing brand experiences across media and technologies by defining best practice
--Connect organisations with design and development experts to help them deliver better brand experiences, at lower costs and that will require less time to go to market
