Mobile Spinach teams up with Google to bring a better way of doing mobile advertising using Google and mobile apps for Android and iPhone.

Mobile Spinach today announced that deals from it’s merchant partners are now available through the Google Offers website and mobile apps for Android and iPhone.

“The age old way of attracting consumers through mobile banner-ads is yesterday’s way of getting business,” said John Vitti, CMO of Mobile Spinach. “In today’s market, consumers want more than the lame ads cluttering their phones, they want something tangible.”

With Mobile Spinach’s white label approach, focusing on mobile commerce rather than banner ads, merchant partners are able to have an inventory of tangible products.

Mobile Spinach has brought numerous businesses a whole new consumer base. Many of these businesses will see consumers who would never have known about the merchants. “That’s part of the reason why we’re teaming up with Google Offers. We want consumers to fall in love with our merchants,” John Vitti, CMO of Mobile Spinach, spoke in regards to bringing merchants new consumers.

Launched in 2010, Mobile Spinach is a mobile local commerce platform designed to allow local merchants to reach interested consumers. The company currently works with more than 5,000 merchants in 611 cities throughout the United States, and is continuously expanding its reach through high-level partnerships.
