There is a need to place the Bible in its true light, as a book of instruction for life
Rolling Meadows, Ill (PRWEB) July 13, 2012
“There is a need to place the Bible in its true light, as a book of instruction for life,” explains author Duane Andry. With this cause in mind, he has penned the new book, [Of the Seven: The Eighth Empire” (published by AuthorHouse).
“The Bible must serve as true Scripture, inspiring true religion,” Andry says. “As Scripture, the Bible has a place in every aspect of our life. My objective is to show that the Bible is not just a mystical set of directives, but that it is, in fact, common sense.”
“Of the Seven” is the seventh book in a series that explores the origin of the Bible’s authority, and places it in situations that correspond with current human conditions. This particular installment takes a look at today’s political landscape, analyzing democracy as the answer for the ills of the world.
Rather than looking at democracy as an established entity, “Of the Seven” looks to the origin of democracy and tries to explain how it needs to be a tool, rather than a weapon.
“Particularly in the U.S. there is a need to understand the Bible’s place for democracy, in the world. Thus, as a citizen of the United States of America, it is my mission to show how democracy fits into the whole of the kingdom of man.”
