I’m delighted to be working with the team at Ludlow. The company has an excellent reputation as a financial planning business that puts its clients’ needs at the very heart of its organisation.

Greg, formerly with Taylor Patterson of Preston for eight years, brings to Ludlow a wealth of experience and expertise from across the financial services sector and provides financial planning solutions for affluent private and corporate clients.

Greg’s appointment coincides with Ludlow’s recent acquisition of Wallwork Ludlow Ltd another well-known financial services company, whose office is centrally located in the area where Greg resides and from where he can build strong client relationships.

‘I’m delighted to be working with the team at Ludlow. The company has an excellent reputation as a financial planning business that puts its clients’ needs at the very heart of its organisation. As an experienced financial consultant I know how important that is; if you look after your clients and earn their trust, the relationship will last,’ says Greg.

He adds: ‘With the forthcoming changes in legislation by the FSA (Financial Services Industry) every company in the financial services sector has had to review their procedures and charging structure. I believe Ludlow has adopted the best approach to meet its clients’ needs while remaining competitive.’

The Ludlow Wealth Management Group was formed in 1993 by Sid Ludlow and currently has 45 staff and £350 million in assets under management. Ludlow has grown to become one of the largest financial planning firms in the North West of England having acquired a number of other distinguished and well respected wealth management companies in the region including Chartwell Finance Management and DT Lord Financial Management. The company has four offices; Southport (HQ), Blackburn, Lytham and Fulwood in Preston, where Greg will be based.

Sid Ludlow commented, ‘As the company has grown we had the need to recruit another senior consultant, and Greg fits the bill. He has a good working knowledge of the area and his enthusiastic approach and commitment to deliver high levels of customer service clearly match the ethos of Ludlow. Many of our referrals come from existing clients and professional advisors so having the right people representing our company is critical to its continuing growth and success.’

From under the Ludlow umbrella, clients can take advantage of wealth management, holistic personal financial planning, strategic retirement planning and personal protection (life and health insurance).
