Offering banks an affordable and scalable integrated reporting solution

SNL Financial is pleased to announce its acquisition of SwiftKnowledge, a leading web-based bank reporting and analysis application. The SwiftKnowledge toolset will be integrated with SNL’s existing product offering to create the new SNLBanker solution.

“We are extremely excited to be able to bring these two category-defining companies together to create a unique solution demanded by banks everywhere,” said John Montgomery, SNL’s Director of Financial Institutions. “We have been working together for the past six months and have seen firsthand the potential for this combination to add tremendous value to the banking industry,” he continued.

By integrating SwiftKnowledge into the industry’s leading data provider, SNL can now offer a single platform for monitoring and analyzing a bank’s daily and monthly internal operations as well as external information, such as news, peer data, competitive rate pricing, and demographics.
“SNLBanker significantly streamlines and improves the reporting process by providing a single, secure source for analyzing data critical to a bank’s business,” noted JP O’Sullivan, SNL’s Associate Director of Financial Institutions. “SNLBanker securely integrates data from several internal sources, such as a bank's core processor, general ledger, budget & profitability systems, CRM tools, and other systems to provide the insight needed to proactively manage the bank.”

“Our business intelligence solution has always been well received by banks, and we are excited about the much broader, more powerful SNLBanker solution that has not previously been available,” said Daniel Moloney, Ph.D., President of SwiftKnowledge, LLC. “We are pleased that our existing banking clients will also be able to take advantage of this new solution.”
