“We’re very pleased with the sites initial performance and how the business model has been received by new car buyers and dealers alike"
Leeds, England (PRWEB UK) 12 July 2012
CarHerd.com launched in May 2012 as an online platform for purchasers of new cars in the UK. The website received press all over the world after its launch.
Global PR as well as online marketing by the company has attracted over 4000 unique visitors to the site during the first month. Over 200 new car buyers registered their details and Vehicle preferences on the site in May and the first sales were completed the following month.
CarHerd sorts the buyers into groups based on manufacturer and then negotiates on behalf of each group with Dealers across the UK to source the best discounts available. The level of discount available varies depending on group size, manufacturer and model.
Mark Heptonstall and Oliver Todd, the Co-Founders of the website, are projecting 4000 buyers over the first 12 months will come through the CarHerd system and based on early indicators coupled with their growth plans, they are well on track to meet these projections.
CarHerd requires new partnerships to deal with the demand of customers and are actively seeking dealerships throughout the UK that can handle large groups of national New Vehicle customers.
“We’re very pleased with the sites initial performance and how the business model has been received by new car buyers and dealers alike. However we’re certainly not going to rest on our laurels and are fully aware that there is a lot of hard work ahead for us in terms of growth and expansion of the venture, in order to meet our ambitious targets. Once we’ve met our first year forecasts we see no reason why we can’t replicate this business in other countries around the world.” explains Mark Heptonstall, Co-Founder.
