Jenny Craig has launched an “Edna Forever” Facebook app to support Dame Edna Everage and her manager Barry Humphries, who have both lost 18lbs so far on the Jenny Craig weight loss programme.
The app is designed for Edna’s “adoring fans” to come together on Facebook and commit to doing something positive for their own health – just like the Dame. In the process, they can give themselves the “Gigastar” treatment.
A simple three-step process allows the user to add the iconic purple wig and bedazzled glasses to their pictures and then share the result with their friends.
The message behind the campaign is simple - Edna is a legend; she deserves to live forever and JENNY CRAIG wants the public to rally behind her weight loss journey.
Dame Edna and Barry Humphries were announced in April as Jenny Craig’s latest ambassadors, aiming to lose 33lbs each in order to prepare for the high demands of Edna’s national farewell tour – Eat, Pray, Laugh.
