ANHAM FZCO, a leading contracting firm that provides services around the world, participated in the 2012 Kennedy Center Spring Gala held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The Spring Gala is one of Washington D.C.’s premier benefit engagements and provides critical funding to support the Center’s performances, education and outreach initiatives.
“It’s always a privilege to help support the John F. Kennedy Center and shine a light on the importance of the performing arts,” said Mr. Abul Huda Farouki, CEO and Chairman of ANHAM FZCO.
The Spring Gala celebrates the performing arts while drawing attention to educational programs that reach young people, teachers, and families throughout the nation. The one-night fundraiser helped to raise $2.4 million for the Center’s programs.
The event was hosted by David Foster, a 16-time Grammy Award winner who is best known for having written, composed, and produced records for a diverse and exceptional catalogue of talents, including Michael Bublé, the late Whitney Houston, Céline Dion, Toni Braxton, Madonna, Chaka Khan, Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand, and many others.
“We are committed and look forward to taking part in future Kennedy Center engagements, especially those addressing educational efforts,” Mr. Farouki stated.
