ProSchools is now approved to offer mortgage continuing education credits and real estate continuing education credit in California through one single course. Professionals in both the mortgage industry and real estate industry can take this single course and apply the CA continuing education credits to both fields.

ProSchools, one of the nation’s premier online continuing education providers, is proud to announce it has received approvals from both the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) to offer eight hours of mortgage continuing education credit and eight hours of real estate continuing education credit through its single course: 8 Hour CA SAFE Comprehensive: 2012 California Mortgage CE and DRE Credit (2883).

Professionals in both the mortgage industry and the real estate industry will benefit from ProSchools’ dual approval by taking this single course and having the continuing education credits apply to both industries. The eight hours of DRE continuing education credit will apply to the consumer protection category of the 45-hour total training requirement in California. The eight hours of NMLS continuing education credit will satisfy the full, annual training requirement for mortgage loan originators.

“As an online training provider in both the real estate and mortgage industries, we are pleased to offer our customers in both industries a streamlined approach to annual professional training. The ProSchools learning management system is user-friendly and engaging, and the course content is timely and relevant. We welcome both real estate and mortgage professionals to take advantage of this reciprocity,” said Mike Shepherd, Chief Learning Officer for ProSchools.

Mortgage and real estate professionals can access the course at the ProSchools website or by visiting http://www.proschools.com/Mortgage-Lending/California/License-Renewal.aspx.
