ElanTech today announced the release of the newest versions of its Incident Management Decision Support System (IMDSS) software. Web-based IMDSS version 1.3 was released on July 5, 2012, and its mobile edition, IMDSS iOS version 1.4 is available at the Apple iTunes store.
IMDSS is a highly secure web-based software tool that aggregates emergency management information into a geospatially organized dashboard. Incident commanders and their teams use the IMDSS platform to coordinate real-time data from first responders, citizens, and local and national government agencies, allowing for better, faster decision making and more efficient incident response.

IMDSS was developed by ElanTech in cooperation with Murray State University through a contract from the Kentucky Critical Infrastructure Protection Program, managed by The National Institute For Hometown Security. for the Department of Homeland Security.
