About Theresa Stevens:
Theresa is a long-time health and beauty program creator. After a brief stint as a high school English teacher, she founded the non-profit organization Mariposa’s Art (http://mariposasart.org/). During her eleven years as Executive Director, the organization served over 14,600 youth, providing high school students with paid career internships teaching art, music, and fitness to thousands of elementary school children. Theresa then went on to help re-design a national health and beauty curriculum for the Girl Scouts of the USA, called Uniquely Me!. Samba dance has transformed Theresa’s relationship with her body and her entire life.
