The insole of a shoe is what the foot contacts and feels, providing the first line of comfort and support.
San Luis Obispo, CA (PRWEB) July 12, 2012
Cadence™ Insoles recently debuted its inaugural line of replacement insoles. The unique insoles combine the support of a semi-rigid orthotic with the comfort of an insole. Cadence™ Insoles are now available online at http://www.cadenceinsoles.com and in select retail locations.
The insoles were designed by John Hinds, a physical therapist with more than 20 years of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation experience.
“The insole of a shoe is what the foot contacts and feels, providing the first line of comfort and support. The foot also influences the movement of the lower extremity and hips”, stated Hinds. “After many years working with orthotics and insoles, and so closely with the people using them, I have learned what works for most and what doesn’t. So I designed an insole with an optimal blend of true support and durable, responsive comfort. I call them Cadence™ insoles because of the importance of proper cadence for running efficiency and injury prevention.”
Cadence™ Insoles help control pronation, which is when the arch collapses and the foot rolls in, and optimize foot and lower extremity biomechanics while reducing impact forces associated with overuse injuries. They were designed for individuals who perform a variety of sports and work-related activities and who seek moderate arch support and heel-to-toe comfort.
In addition, Cadence™ Insoles is a proud supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and its Team in Training program as well as the Folds of Honor Foundation.
