Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) July 13, 2012
A decade of renovations has helped Florida-based Palm Beach Marina solidify its position as a top-rated boater’s paradise.
When the major renovation on the Palm Beach Marina was finished in the year 2000, it had developed a special set of services. It discovered that certain amenities were what discerning boaters wanted to find located all in one place, in a single marina. It then made changes to facilitate a community environment. The Galley Restaurant, for example, is located onsite. The Marine Max, a boat store that sells both new and formerly-owned boats, is conveniently located on the marina as well.
The Jacksonville Fl marina's dry storage facility was also revamped within the last decade. The facility measures at a whopping 72000-square-feet and was designed so that customers can store their boats over short and long-term time frames. "Its the largest dry storage facility in the Jacksonville Intracoastal Waterway," said Operations Manager, Richard Thill.
New gas pumps were a welcomed addition to the marina as well. Gas prices for diesel and gate gas are always reasonably priced. Complete marine service including electrical service for 30 and 50 amps are available too.
Although, the waterways were previously always within the Florida state and Jacksonville city cleanliness guidelines, in 2008, Palm Beach Marina made additional efforts to maintain the clearest waters. The channel was dredged to remove even the smallest traces of sediment. Today, mariners enjoy the easier boating navigation. The waters also offer up the freshest fish to novice and seasoned anglers and the sandiest beaches to sunbathers.
Community appreciation benefits are another side-effect of the recent alterations to the marina. Customers may partake in the boating center's monthly cookouts, utilize the picnic and Bar-B-Q areas and the onsite laundry facilities.
The marina’s community newsletter, the “Cove News,” was added just a few years ago. The newsletter informs readers of the latest news, events and boating tips. The website also has links to weather and tide forecasts so that customers can plan their boating excursions for good weather days. The marina's educational website posts dry storage and wet slip rates too. Special discounts for yearly contract signing are given on the site as well.
Palm Beach Marina has many on-site and nearby businesses that continue to grow. Trans Logistics Management Services, for instance, and Control Masters Marine Systems are two of the businesses in the boating community. The Jacksonville Boat Club, Marine Max and the MTI Captain School are also located nearby.
The unique amenities of the Palm Beach Marina are what differentiates it from other marinas. Many were created through the major renovations that were completed within the last 10 years. Even so, Palm Beach Marina's remains open to undergoing more changes in the years ahead. It's ongoing mission is to service its customers by maintaining its rank as the boater's preferred marina.
