Pioneer of Bhangra Music Producer Rajinder Rai Panjabi MC Announced Next Video Project

Panjabi MC has produced songs with noteable international artists, films from Dictator to Slumdog Millionaire. He has also performed Bhangra classics such as Indian Timing (Jeona Morh) to a sold out crowd at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Panjabi MC is working on his next World music album project.

Panjabi MC music captivates crowds around the world with his soulful remixes of South Asian music classics

Rajinder Rai (Panjabi MC) released a song Mundian to Bach Ke which was remizxxed by Pharell Williams and Jay-Z and released as "Beware of the Boys", which became the theme song for the 2012 Sasha Cohen film the "Dictator". Panjabi MC music captivates crowds around the world with his soulful remixes of South Asian music classics. Panjabi MC announced that he is working on a World music album and a series of music videos.

South Asian Bhangra Music remix is the equivalent of Rap artist like mixing a Frank Sinatra song into a new hip beat. On "Indian Timing", Panjabi MC uses vocal samples from Ofra Haza's "Im Nin'Alu". He used "Planet Rock" ("Pyar Wich (Planet Rock Remix)" on Legalised) before Afrika Bambaataa recorded "Indian Planet Rock". On “Jatt Ho Giya Sharabee”, Panjabi MC uses the theme music from the TV show Magnum, P.I. "Mundian To Bach Ke" (along with the subsequent remix version featuring Jay-Z, "Beware of the Boys") uses the bassline from the television show Knight Rider.

Panjabi MC performs throughout Europe, Middle East and United States. His music videos are seen on MTV International (IGGY), ZeeTv, SonyTv and BritAsia. His last album "The Raj" ranked number two on the iTunes World Charts. His next release will be in record stores throughout Europe, South Asia and United States and digital retailers Worldwide.
