I was not fighting the poison in my body, but the poison of fear

In her memoir “Sunblood: I Lived to Tell the Story” (published by AuthorHouse), author Leigha Anastasia von Micks walks readers along the path of her recovery from being poisoned, and shows them how that path led her to a new understanding of the links between the physical and spiritual world.
“My mother and I searched for a cure to bring healing to my body,” von Micks writes, “Sunblood is about life versus death, the death of a body, the death of a soul, the death of this world and the resurrection of life.”
An excerpt from “Sunblood”:
“Unfortunately real warrior energy, which is governed by the Spirit and is the energy of truth is sadly lacking in today’s society. Truth has real power in this world and so it has been taken away, taken from man. Because man would have power and not government. And so the government and the justice system have become the father of all men, leaving men powerless as a child to a parent. Why? Because of fear. The fear of not being in control of your life.
It is fear that ages people and it kills us. It is fear that is the root cause of disease, and it is the ego that generates the fear, using it to control people. So it came to me that I was not fighting the poison in my body, but the poison of fear. I was fighting to let go of all that I had been conditioned to respond to. I learned to let go of the fears one at time and what a struggle it was breaking out of centuries of conditioning that we learn from our parents, our friends and society.”
With her book von Micks wants readers to see the answers she’s discovered. “I came to understand energy and how it affected people and the planet,” she says. “‘Sunblood’ is also a book of prophecy; I published it in 2004 and some of the prophecies have already come true.”
