We’ve already collected two big bags, and we’re getting more every day.

Kim Brust’s State Farm agency is collecting new and used children’s shoes in preparation for back-to-school. They are hoping to rally the community and provide as many needy children as possible with footwear for the school season.
“It’s so important for us to help take care of those less fortunate in our community,” said Brust.
“We encourage everyone to clean out their closets and bring in those old shoes.”
The agency is partnering with Paul Davis Restoration, which will clean and refurbish used shoes that are donated. “It’s great that we will be able to give kids shoes that are like new, even if they have been worn,” Brust said.
“We’ve already collected two big bags, and we’re getting more every day. It’s great to know our
community is so generous,” said Cecilia Dicristofalo, who is coordinating the drive in the agency.
Shoes can be donated at Kim Brust State Farm, 12029 Majestic Boulevard, Suite 5, Hudson, FL 34667-2468. They will be collected throughout the summer.
