Lakewood Ranch-based Builder's Sales are Strong as Ever - 2012 Predicted to be Another Record-breaking Year

The demand for housing is high and sales are up. Fresh from celebrating an over 38% year-over-year sales increase during the month of June, the Neal family of companies proudly announces their 300th home sale for 2012. Neal has surpassed its total annual sales in 2010 and is well on its way to trumping those of 2011.

According to the recent Case-Shiller index, there has been a notable home price increase in 19 of the 20 major cities that were tracked in the study. No southwest Florida cities were featured but Miami and Tampa both made the list. Miami’s prices rose 0.4% and Tampa’s rose 1.9%, solidifying the general market trend that buyers are taking advantage of current prices fast and that the demand for housing keeps steadily increasing.

Neal Communities intends to meet housing demand with several community openings over the next few months and on into early 2013. Grand Palm in Venice, Boca Royale in Englewood, and Fairfield in Bradenton have all been specifically structured and designed with emerging buyer trends in mind. The soonest to open, Grand Palm in late summer 2012, will have the widest variety of housing product and amenities that Neal has offered to date.
