We’re a small business helping small businesses. We are a team of real people who are on the phone all day talking with entrepreneurs in their journey to success.

Despite launching their business mid-recession in 2009, husband and wife business owners Phil and Nellie Akalp beat the odds, and are celebrating the third anniversary of their company, CorpNet.com.
CorpNet.com is a business filing service that targets new business owners looking to incorporate a business, form an LLC, or file other business documents to keep a business in good standing. The company is not the founders’ first: previously the Akalps founded another business filing service that was purchased by Intuit back in 2005.
“I have a tremendous amount of passion for this business segment and this time around, it was important for me to make an impression on the small business industry,” said Nellie Akalp, CEO and Co-Founder of CorpNet.com, “As a small business owner, I understand all the pains and hurdles other small business owners face in trying to get their businesses off the ground, and I wanted to establish a close connection with our customer base. It was important to make a difference by offering high quality services done quickly and done right.”
The Akalps decided to start again in the business filing industry in 2009, when they launched CorpNet.com. Because the industry had changed, the two quickly learned how to better market their product in a sea of competitors.
“CorpNet.com is not some big, anonymous corporation with nothing but automated e-mails and recorded voice messages,” explained Phil Akalp, Director of Web Marketing and Co-Founder, “We’re a small business helping small businesses. We are a team of real people who are on the phone all day talking with entrepreneurs in their journey to success.”
CorpNet.com works to educate the small business customer about business entities and business structures by providing free content and guides on its website, as well as its popular The Startup Starting Line Blog.
