We’ve embraced the tradition and nostalgia of buying our favourite sweets across a vintage counter and launched the experience online to meet the needs of today’s consumer.

Since opening its flagship sweets store in Hale, south Manchester, last year, The Gobstopper has strategically expanded its business with the provision of online sweet shopping and delivery services, making retro sweets, chocolates and packages available nationwide in time for a summer of celebrations, as well as one-off treats, gifts, corporate hampers and weddings sweets.
To celebrate during its first Birthday, the store offered shoppers more sweets for their money. On the 1st Birthday of The Gobstopper, they shared their joy with the first 50 customers in store with a Gobstopper pin badge.
Lisa Oakes, owner of The Gobstopper, commented: “We’ve embraced the tradition and nostalgia of buying our favourite sweets across a vintage counter and launched the experience online to meet the needs of today’s consumer. We’re delighted to launch in time for such a momentous summer of major events and we look forward to delivering our sweet goodies to street parties, weddings and business events over the coming months.”
“Expanding online has been a strategic move for us, opting to invest in warehouse and distributon facilities rather than opening further stores. We believe online shopping will grow our business faster and further."
The website offers a wide selection of tantalising tastes for individual sweet treats, gifts, vintage inspired wedding favours as well as party gift sweet bags for girls and boys (starting at £2.50) through to unique and affordable corporate event hampers. There is even a large crate crammed full of goodies for the serious sweet lovers out there.
Prices range from 90p to £84.99 (plus postage and packing).
At The Gobstopper, they are always excited to hear from anyone with a passion for sweets and life. To learn what they can do for you, please contact them via their social channels or email.
