We see significant growth opportunities in Australia and Asia and the new office represents our commitment to customers in the region, and our desire to be in the best position to serve their needs
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) July 17, 2012
LetMobile (http://www.letmobile.com), a leading provider of Secure Corporate Collaboration Solutions for Personal Mobile Devices, today announced the opening of a new office in Sydney Australia, to serve Australia, New Zealand, as well as growing Asian market.
The new office will be led by Anthony Turco, who joins LetMobile’s management team as Vice President for Asia Pacific. Mr. Turco has a long track record of working with advanced corporate technologies. Prior to joining LetMobile, Turco managed Australia, New Zealand, and the rest of Asia Pacific for Novell’s Identity Security & Compliance and Cloud Technologies.
“We are excited to expand our service to Oceania and Asia, and thrilled to see Anthony join our team,” said Dror Todress, LetMobile CEO. “We see significant growth opportunities in Australia and Asia and the new office represents our commitment to customers in the region, and our desire to be in the best position to serve their needs.”
“I am delighted to join LetMobile and present its cutting edge technology to the APAC market. The LetMobile Australian office will focus on new business development, channel partners recruitment, on-boarding and customer support,” says Mr. Turco. “I am fully committed to building the LetMobile APAC business and will work closely with the product team to bring leading mobile Email security solutions to market,” he adds.
According to Tim Dillon, Associate Vice President, Asia Pacific Mobility and End User Research from IDC Asia/Pacific, “IDC is forecasting that by 2015 just over 38% of the workforce in Asia Pacific will be categorised as mobile workers and in that same year we estimate that over half a billion smartphones will find their way into the Asia Pacific business market. Asia Pacific already accounts for one-quarter of global smartphone shipments and exhibits incredibly strong demand for smartphones and tablets. As the number of OSs inside the organisation grows and more devices come into the market, it is only natural that companies' thoughts turn to security.”
“I believe that LetMobile’s solution for providing security and compliance for corporate information on both business and personal devices is a natural fit within any enterprise wide Mobility program. The low touch, in-the-flow gateway approach provides corporate customers with a seamless way to ensure data security and compliance without interrupting the personal use of any device or potentially creating end user acceptance issues,” concludes Turco.
