Revenue Cycle Administration and Revenue Cycle Solutions for Directors Seminars Offered Online

The College of Health Care Professions CEO Jon Emerald announced today that the school’s Center for Health Information Technology Excellence is now offering two new online Revenue Cycle Management Continuing Education seminars – Revenue Cycle Administration and Revenue Cycle Solutions for Directors.

“We are thrilled to offer Revenue Cycle Management continuing education online seminars,” said Emerald. “In an ever-changing world of health care reimbursement, it is critical for health care professionals to stay ahead of the curve.”

The Revenue Cycle Administration seminar is designed specifically for Patient Access Reps, Patient Account Reps, Denial/Appeal Coordinators, Charge Capture Coordinators, Billing/Insurance Follow-up Reps, Collections/Bad– Dept. Reps., Claims Adjusters/Processors, Medicare Coordinators, Financial Counselors, Manage Care Coordinator, and Team Lead Supervisors. Lasting just 12 weeks, the seminar focuses on Revenue Cycle Advancements updates and students receive 12 CEUs upon completion of the required components of the seminar. The seminar has been approved for 12 continuing education units by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

The Revenue Cycle Solutions for Directors seminar is designed to provide professional development specifically for Directors of Patient Financial Service, Directors of Patient Access, Directors of Risk Management, Directors of Denial Management, Compliance/Appeal Directors. Lasting just 6 weeks, the seminar focuses on Complete Financial Reporting, Auditing, System Administration, Insurance Calculations, Physician Credentialing and Utilization Review, how to effectively interact with ancillary department to meet forecast deadlines. Students receive 6 CEUs upon completion of the required components of the seminar. The seminar has been approved for 6 continuing education units by AHIMA.
