On Saturday July 28th, Kaminski Auctions will present an exciting 20th Century Decorative Arts Sale. Bidding will commence at 10:00 AM at the auction gallery located at 117 Elliot Street, Rte. 62, Beverly, Massachusetts.

Two oil paintings by American artist Dennis Akervik Coelho will be featured in this month’s sale. The first, “Puffer Fish,” is estimated $15,000-$20,000, and the second, “On The Atlantic,” is estimated $1,000-$5,000. Both include Certificates of Authenticity from the artist.

A Rhode Island native, Coelho was born in 1968 and is best known for his individualistic style and design techniques. His work can be found in many galleries and has achieved impressive prices at recent sales. Nico Auctions, located in Greenville, Delaware, has recently sold four of Coelho’s works. In February, “Red Cabin” sold for $19,000, and in May, an untitled work achieved $55,000. Two pieces sold in a June auction, “Castrattis” achieved a sale of $55,000 and an untitled work achieved $47,000. With such an impressive history at recent sales, Kaminski Auctions is pleased to feature the work of this contemporary artist in its July 20th Century Decorative Arts Sale.

Other highlights from the sale will include sculptures by artist Feliciano Bejar], art glass by LeVerre Francais, and bronze works by David Aronson. Art Deco style lamps and fine ceramics will be on offer, as well as furniture by Eugene Schoen, Mies Van der Rohe, and Hans Wegner.
