NuWave Solutions Board of Advisors Holds Second Meeting

The leadership team and Board of Advisors for NuWave Solutions, a fast-growing IT consulting firm, held their quarterly meeting to assess recent growth and to develop strategies for continued growth in the increasingly competitive commercial marketplace and the challenging government fiscal environment ahead.

The NuWave Solutions leadership team held their quarterly meeting with their Board of Advisors on Thursday, 28 June 2012. The meeting took place in their main headquarters office in McLean, VA. The NuWave leadership team is led by CEO, Mark Keyser. The other leadership team members are: Rob Castle, President and CTO; Brad Hubbard, COO; Steve Taylor, VP of the Intelligence Division; and Nghi Cosgrove, VP of Marketing.

NuWave Solutions, with offices in McLean, VA and Columbia, MD has been delivering data management solutions, custom applications, analytics, and business intelligence systems to federal government and commercial customers for 12 years.

The NuWave Solutions Board of Advisors is chaired by Tom Griffith, Major General, USAF, Retired and former Senior Executive with Accenture. Board members are: Walter Kulbacki, James Hickey and Larry Werner.

Walter Kulbacki is CEO and President of WK Global Solutions and former VP, business development for SAIC’s C4IT business unit. Walt’s last position before retiring from the US Army was director of operations for DISA.

Larry Werner is an attorney and serial entrepreneur within the technology and telecommunications industries and is a founding investor and principal in NuWave Solutions. He has been active in the call center and voice processing markets for over thirty years. Mr. Werner currently is a Director of and investor in Endicott Comm, Inc.

James Hickey is Vice President for Government Affairs for Day & Zimmermann, a family of companies dedicated to accelerating customer success by delivering trusted services and products to both its commercial and government clients. He has been in this position since 2004. Prior to that, he worked for the Raytheon Company for 14 years as Director of Congressional Affairs. He originally came to Washington in 1986 serving first on the staff of Congressman Herb Bateman from 1986-89 and then served on the staff for Senator Pete Domenici in 1990.

This was the second meeting of the NuWave Solutions Board of Advisors, which first met in March of this year. The board received numerous briefings from the NuWave leadership team which highlighted success in surpassing goals in corporate growth and increased revenue. Group discussions covered the entire spectrum of customer relations, corporate operations, technology development and future strategies. NuWave has recently executed several strategic hires that have quickly demonstrated positive trends and future increase in capabilities for the company. As NuWave continues to grow they have reorganized to improve business processes to ensure delivery of the best quality of technical services to their customers, a standard for which they have become recognized in both the federal government and commercial markets. The NuWave CEO, Mark Keyser, stated that this was an extremely beneficial exchange of ideas, evaluations and recommendations. The Chairman of the Board, Tom Griffith, reiterated that he is very impressed with the marked progress, successes in growth and positive trends that the board has seen in these last three months. They both agreed that the future looks very bright for NuWave despite some of the looming budget cuts in federal government and other less than positive economic forecasts.
