"The new Garmin fenix GPS watch is a very cool option for Realtors because they can program the geo-coordinates of the property corners right into the watch and the watch will navigate them right to those corners," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "Having spent the better part of six years as a Realtor and having earned my Brokers License, I know how important it can be to physically find the corners of a property with a customer, especially on larger properties and ranches."
For ranch brokers and sellers of larger properties the GPS handheld became a very valuable tool over the past several decades but now the option exists to have a GPS wrist top unit. "You can also mark up to 1,000 way points and navigate directly back to those way points," says Squire. He continues, "The watch will navigate you directly back to any way point you set."
The Garmin fenix is due out in late August and could quite easily become an indispensable tool for Realtors that sell larger properties, plus it serves as your wrist watch and can even get heart rate data and data for sports. It's a super versatile tool.
"There are a lot of times when getting to a property corner with a vehicle just is not plausible, so you have to walk, and this is where the Garmin fenix is invaluable because you can stop wasting your clients time looking for a pin, just program the pin coordinates and track straight to them - how easy is that!" says Squire.
Forgetting your hand held, or just have a car GPS, is not nearly as portable a solution, plus, Realtors can use the Garmin fenix as an everyday watch.
