Organic materials are very important to Pure Play Kids – especially as the systems and skin of young children are sensitive and immature. We also believe in protecting the waterways and land of the planet those babies will inherit from us.

Pure Play Kids, the online source for battery-free toys and products for babies and kids is excited to launch four new organic cloth baby toys. Each new item is made of organic cloth and is hand-stitched in USA, in keeping with Pure Play Kids commitment to environmental sustainability and made-in-America toys.

Inspired by the tradition of Waldorf dolls, Pure Play Kids’ new Green Waldorf Organic Doll is simple and delightful. Designed to provide a soft, safe and sustainable alternative to vinyl baby dolls, the Pure Play Kids Waldorf Doll is organic throughout – inside and outside. Tania Grant, Pure Play Kids CEO said, “Today’s parents want safer materials, and mothers constantly ask us for an alternative to the vinyl baby doll. We’re excited to launch our Organic Baby Doll - the simple design, soft material and calm expression promotes warmth, calmness and imagination in children. While we drew our inspiration from Germany’s strong Waldorf tradition, our doll is 100% hand-stitched in the United States. Toddlers and preschool aged children love to nurture their 'babies,' and nurturing is a value we love to spread.”

Pure Play Kids second new product, its Organic Stuffed Snuggle Star Toy, has become a favorite quickly after its launch. Babies love watching and experimenting with open and closed eyes, and this star captures that fun with open eyes on one side and sleeping eyes on the other side. Pure Play Kids Organic Stuffed Star has kids switching gleefully from one side to the other, and the stars 5 legs are perfect for little hands to hold onto. “Stars are a wonderful childhood symbol of sleep and possibility. Our Organic Stuffed Star Toy is playful and peaceful, and we love engaging babies with it,” said Tania Grant, Pure Play Kids’ CEO and the product’s designer.

Pure Play Kids has also launched two Organic Baby Balls – the Organic Baby Soccer Ball and the Colorful Organic Baby "Beach" Ball. Both feature hand-stitched organic cotton exteriors filled with kapok. “Kapok is a great stuffing for organic stuffed toys,” said Tania Grant. “It is a natural material grown organically on Ceiba trees. It’s soft and non-allergenic, and it was actually a popular filling for stuffed animals before cheap polyester stuffing came around. Organic materials are very important to Pure Play Kids – especially for the youngest children whose systems and skin are still sensitive and immature. We also believe in protecting the waterways and land of the planet those babies will inherit from us.”

“Baby balls are great developmentally. Kids love to hold them, roll them and later catch them. For babies, a soft baby ball is a great accessory during ‘tummy time,’ as babies can lie atop the ball and develop arm and neck strength,” continued Tania Grant.

All four organic stuffed toys are available at Pure Play Kids: http://www.pureplaykids.com/. Offering national, flat-rate shipping and gift-wrapping, Pure Play Kids is a resource for organic baby presents.
