Their enemies are jealous of what they cannot have or achieve. They will do anything to achieve their goal, never knowing if it will be achievable.”

Eunice D. Colvin’s debut paranormal romance novel “Dream Lover: Mortal Immortal Series” (published by iUniverse) is about the rebirth of a vampire race that has been scattered across many countries after a final battle millennia ago, where their leaders were annihilated.

Dayton and Erysah are the principal characters, whose connection ignites not only a new beginning for them, but for the vampires and their enemies. Both are plagued by death – in Dayton’s case his friend, and in Erysah’s case her family. Both are tied together in more ways than they could have imagined.

An excerpt from “Dream Lover”:

“Dayton had not realised how much energy he had used in the first attempt at finding his Solelil. He had been laid up for almost four months. Then it had taken another two months to rebuild his energy levels, before he could even think about making another attempt. After he had fed Dayton had come back into the library and settled down once again into his favourite chair. The soft brown leather cocooning him in its gentle embrace. He had sat there every night for the last six months while he recuperated, reliving his first contact with her.”

“The characters in my book have a vulnerability that others haven’t,” Colvin says. “Their enemies are jealous of what they cannot have or achieve. They will do anything to achieve their goal, never knowing if it will be achievable.”
