“The Bible, God’s Word, has encouragement for us in every verse. By reading the verses selected, and the entire Chapters the come from, you will feel God lift you on ‘wings like eagles’,” states the author. “I hope readers will be drawn closer to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit so that all three can work in our lives daily. God wants us to know Him in every verse and every way of His Word.”

Carlton Brent Guyer, a social worker for Guilford County DSS, found that sharing the Gospel over e-mail with fellow workers brightened their lives and provided an avenue of hope. “I share Bible verses every Thursday, using day-to-day examples, to encourage my fellow workers; it has grown to about 35 people weekly,” expresses Guyer. “I took 40 of the best ones and compiled them into a 40 day journal.” The author resides in North Carolina with his wife, Martha, and son Daniel.
