Within the pages of his new book, C.B. and Sam Fight Hard, Hold Fast ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-62230-101-0; $25.99, hardcover, 978-1-62230-102-7; $7.99, e-book, 978-1-62230-103-4), Boyd A. Taylor hopes to teach readers valuable lessons. The author’s main objective is bringing a message to take a stand against what is wrong and that even young people are capable of making tough decisions and dealing with arduous tasks. He is quick to remind his audience that God is at work in even the most difficult situations.
“Many books aimed at our youth teach passivity in one form or another sometimes through the pointlessness of a struggle,” states the author. “Ultimately, I hope to change hearts and minds of young people to fight against the pervasive lethargy in our culture. I hope to inspire all my readers to be active in achieving something great, noble and honorable with their lives.”
Boyd A. Taylor grew up in the rural western United States. He studied Creative Writing at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. He has spent many months abroad in countries like Belgium, China and Germany. His hobbies include shooting sports, reading about old wars, everything outdoors and enjoying time with his wife and three children. He has worked at many different kinds of jobs, but the last twelve years have been spent working in law enforcement--seeing first-hand the tragedy of lives lived without purpose.
