Transor Filter specializes in filtration solutions for EDM and grinding applications. To address the needs of the automotive and cutting tool industry, Transor has designed a system that incorporates a magnetic separator into their ONE MICRON filtration system. “This compact system handles both carbide and magnetic materials like HSS very well,” stated Sune Backman, VP & Director of Engineering. “In addition, this filter also offers automated sludge handling of the workpiece material removed from the filter after the self cleaning/backflushing cycle of the elements is completed.”

Transor has participated in every IMTS since 1978 and will also display systems that can control the temperature of the oil to +- 0.2 degrees C.
