SheROX Detroit is a female-only sprint distance triathlon that is one of the eight events of the SheROX Toyota Triathlon Series. Toyota joins the race series as the title sponsor. “Over the last five years, SheROX has become the race-of-choice for women looking to embrace the challenge and excitement of triathlon,” said Richard Adler, CEO, Philadelphia Triathlon, LLC -- producer of the SheROX Series.
Online registration for the triathlon is now open and participants can register online. The Athlete Information Guide for the race will be available to athletes one week prior to the event.
The series is unique not only because it is women-only, but also because of the SheROX Mentor Program. This program is used to ensure race participants have a positive event experience from the moment they begin training to the moment they cross the finish line. In this event, an experienced triathlete is paired with an amateur racer to answer questions and offer ongoing support as race day approaches.

The triathlon course is set entirely on and around the 985 acres of Belle Isle, the largest island park in the United States and the tenth-largest municipal park in the United States. The island is located in the middle of the Detroit River on the Michigan/Canadian border, which is three miles east of Downtown Detroit off Jefferson Avenue. It can be accessed by crossing the MacArthur Bridge on East Grand Avenue.
