“Word spread that I received a scholarship based on allergies, and it seemed like I was always helping someone apply for the scholarship. I eventually decided to write “Diagnosis to Diploma.”

Many medical conditions, both serious and minor, often make students eligible for college scholarships, but most students are unaware of their potential eligibility. This new book, "Diagnosis to Diploma," is designed to help students become informed of their potential scholarship eligibility, and provides detailed instructions for how to apply for the scholarships in each State.
Medical-based scholarships are not loans, and do not have to be paid back. It does not matter how much money the student or parents make, and no student is disqualified based on grades or test scores.
A core part of “Diagnosis to Diploma” is a directory of information pertaining to each State’s application process, and a list of frequently asked questions. A section of the book is also devoted to students who have specifically listed medical conditions which automatically qualify for the scholarship. “Diagnosis to Diploma” is designed to be concise and easily understood which makes it practical for someone who simply needs to know how to apply.
"Lots of people just take out student loans to pay for college and never realize they might qualify for a scholarship based on their medical condition,” White says. “It’s a lot easier to apply for this scholarship than it is to pay back decades of student loan debt. Even if someone doesn’t qualify for the scholarship, there isn’t any harm in applying. Many students think they won’t qualify because they aren’t seriously disabled, but that’s not how the scholarship works.”
White received a scholarship to pay for college and law school based on his allergies to pollen. White says he decided to write “Diagnosis to Diploma” after he got tired of telling people how to apply for the scholarship. “Word spread that I received a scholarship based on allergies, and it seemed like I was always helping someone apply for the scholarship. I eventually decided to write “Diagnosis to Diploma,” so now when someone asks me how to apply, I just tell them to buy the book,” White says.
