Bloomington, IND (PRWEB) July 17, 2012
Balboa Press, a division of Hay House Inc., and leading self-publisher of personal empowerment books with a positive message, announced Linda A. Grant, author of “Timewatch,” is the Grand Prize winner for the first-ever Hay House Visions fiction-writing contest. Grant will receive a Hay House Visions publishing contract and a $5,000 advance.
“I’m delighted that Hay House Visions saw potential in ‘Timewatch’; writing has always been a major part of my life, and becoming a published author is really a dream come true,” said Grant. “I consider my writing to be fiction with a message, and it means so much to me that through Hay House Visions I will be able to share that message with the world.”
Hay House Visions is a new fiction-publishing imprint launched by Hay House, Inc., with the goal of bringing empowering fiction books to readers everywhere. The winner of the contest will join Louise Hay, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Gay Hendricks as some of Hay House’s first fiction authors. The contest was open to authors who are at least 18 years of age and have written an unpublished manuscript that is at least 50,000 words in length.
