Every time we add employees it makes a positive impact on our local economy, which in turn benefits the U.S. economy as a whole
Palm Harbor, Fla. (PRWEB) July 23, 2012
Nationwide Title Clearing, Inc. (NTC), a large Palm Harbor employer that performs research services and processes documents for the residential mortgage servicing industry, continues to grow, adding 66 staff members in the last quarter, including 20 in June alone. This expansion reflects a national trend detailed in the recent ADP National Employment Report, which indicates that the U.S. non-farm private business sector increased by 176,000 jobs between May and June on a seasonally adjusted basis. Based in Palm Harbor and founded in 1991, NTC is a privately-owned leading service provider to the mortgage and financial industry. The largest provider in its core field of services, the company’s clients include eight of the 10 largest residential mortgage servicers in the country, and has also expanded to include new land records reporting services to accommodate the changing needs of the mortgage servicing industry. The company has nearly 300 local employees, and that number continues to grow.
NTC officials attribute the growth to an increase in lien releases that occur when loans are paid off through refinancing or purchases, as well as land records research and reporting, which the company is performing in greater volume to aid mortgage servicers in their new due diligence requirements.
The jobs that NTC has recently added include account management roles, programmer and web designer positions, data processing and entry level positions.
“We are a national company with a strong presence in our industry, but a majority of our employees live in the Tampa Bay region,” said John Hillman, NTC’s CEO. “Every time we add employees it makes a positive impact on our local economy, which in turn benefits the U.S. economy as a whole.”
ADP National Employment Report numbers show that employment on large payrolls (500 or more workers) rose by 11,000, and employment on medium payrolls (50 to 499 workers) increased by 72,000. Employment on small payrolls (up to 49 workers) rose by 93,000 during that same period. Of the 72,000 jobs created by medium-sized payrolls – of which NTC is included - 7,000 jobs were created by the goods-producing sector, and 65,000 jobs were created by the service-providing sector.
“We anticipate continued growth, due to our professional and highly trained staff and we are committed to further enhancing our reputation as a company that is rewarding to work for,” Hillman said.
