“When times are really tough during the many struggles of care giving, lean on God’s mercy,"
Maitland, FL (PRWEB) July 19, 2012
No one is ever fully prepared to take on the task of providing daily care for a loved one, yet it seems to be increasingly common. Lois Werth Mimbs documents her experiences over the past eleven years as caregiver for her husband, Al, in her new book, Care-Full Love: The Joys and Struggles of Caregiving ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-62230-272-7; $22.99, hardcover, 978-1-62230-273-4; $7.49, eBook, 978-1-62230-274-1). The author shares the struggles, joys, pain and even the humor of care giving so that she may provide a comforting shoulder for others in similar situations to lean on.
“When times are really tough during the many struggles of care giving, lean on God’s mercy, depend on His loving care and experience the hope only He can give. In the deepest night, you are not alone,” states the author. “You may even experience some laughter through your tears.”
Lois Werth Mimbs is a farm girl from Illinois who followed her lifelong dream to teach school. She earned a B.S. degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and went on to teach at the Alabama State School for Deaf in Talladega. She married Al, a minister, and spent much of her time working alongside him in the church as well. Mimbs sings, plays the piano for church and a local care center. The author’s musical album, entitled "Songs for Caregivers", is being released shortly after the book’s publication.
