New digital platform provides greater connectivity for Chief Marketing Officers worldwide

The CMO Club, a private, membership-based organization comprised of the world’s leading Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), today announced the launch of its new digital community platform: http://www.thecmoclub.com. The community provides CMO Club members with greater access to content, tools to engage with peers online, and provides an overall enhanced user experience. It was designed by Velocidi, a full-service digital marketing agency based in New York and San Francisco.

“My mission for the Club has always been to provide Chief Marketing Officers a place where they can help each other solve critical business issues,” said Pete Krainik, Founder of The CMO Club. “Our partners at Velocidi helped us realize this vision by designing a new digital platform that allows members to network, build relationships, and share important content in a secure and professional environment. It is an important step forward for our organization, and reinforces the value of the Club as the go-to resource for the world’s leading CMOs.”

The community site design contains enhanced features that allow CMOs to maximize the relationships they have built as Club members, including:

  • Improved secure access to peers (CMOs only)
  • Content sharing features
  • Ability to rate and recommend vendors
  • Easier event registration
  • Enhanced research and survey capabilities
  • Social sharing capabilities

“The new platform is great. I’ve already used it to get help from other CMOs to solve one of my issues,” said Evan Greene, CMO, The Recording Academy.

“I like the added security for ensuring CMO-to-CMO only connections and sharing of content,” said Luis Fiallo, CMO, China Telecom.

“I like the fact that the new site is a true community platform vs. yet another marketing website. The site is designed for CMOs to help each other,” said Terri Graham, CMO, Jack in the Box.

“We’re delighted that The CMO Club chose us to be its partner in creating the next generation of the community platform,” said David Dunne, Founder and CEO of Velocidi. “In today’s digital world, it is critical that membership based organizations provide constituents with a seamless online experience that increases the value of membership, and reinforces the quality of the brand. For The CMO Club, success also meant collaborating with Club member Alex Romanovich and Social2B to leverage the existing community.”
