It all started with two young entrepreneurs, one domain name, and one idea to inspire donors to do their part in saving lives across the world. One year later, DoingMYPart (DMP) is a full-fledged movement with hundreds of DMP Heroes who make small monthly donations to largely impact grassroots non-profit fundraising activities for various national organizations. With established operations in Charlotte, North Carolina and Los Angeles, California, the organization's co-founder and Milwaukee-area native, Josh Delaney, seeks to expand the social philanthropic platform by launching DoingMYPart in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“I’ve never seen an easier, more practical way to help others,” says Matt, a DMP Hero out of Atlanta, Georgia. This easy and practical process consists of individuals signing up to be Heroes on doingmypart.com and donating $3 per month online through the website. Working on one project at a time, DoingMYPart then donates the monies contributed by its Heroes to a non-profit organization that currently needs the funds for specific programs or initiatives. The projects vary widely and range anywhere from providing resources to injured war veterans to feeding and clothing children.

Having established the organization’s presence in both Charlotte and Los Angeles, co-founders, Josh Delaney and Mike Spencer seek to expand their grassroots efforts into Milwaukee in order to garner more opportunities to help those in need. DMP continually searches for new heroes wanting to do their part and become part of the groundbreaking movement. For the current project, money raised by DMP Heroes will benefit [Kicks for Kids, a non-profit organization that seeks to provide shoes, socks, and even mentors to homeless children across the United States.
