Capitol Hill Hotel offers a selection of attractive and affordable packages for families and business travelers.

“At Capitol Hill Hotel, we love to suggest the most unique and memorable ways to explore our city” said Ian Harvey, general manager of Capitol Hill Hotel.

Following the recent unveiling of the rebranded Capitol Hill Hotel this summer, the property, which is located in the heart of the Capitol Hill historic district, is now pleased to launch a selection of attractive and distinctly local packages. The new packages tap into a few of Washington D.C.’s most popular sights; from a museum sleepover for kids, to an espionage introduction, to an all-American picnic, the packages offer an ideal summertime escape.

Capitol Hill Hotel’s multi-million dollar renovation completed its first phase in June, which included both the lobby and meeting spaces. Guests are now welcomed by a striking space that marries modern amenities with a locally inspired design. The 152 all-suite guestrooms – 50 percent larger than a typical hotel room – offer all of the amenities for a comfortable stay including fully-equipped kitchens, free in-room Wi-Fi and complimentary continental breakfast.

“At Capitol Hill Hotel, we love to suggest the most unique and memorable ways to explore our city. We strive to make our guests feel like they are part of our dynamic neighborhood and community,” said Ian Harvey, general manager of Capitol Hill Hotel. “Our new packages create experiences that combine our local knowledge and spirit of adventure so that all visitors – from families to business travelers – can truly immerse themselves in all that our great city has to offer.”

The new packages offered by Capitol Hill Hotel include:

Night at the Museum

With this package, one parent can take the night off and unwind at the hotel, while the other parent takes the kids on an adventure! Think of it as a treat for the kids and for Mom or Dad who gets a night to himself at the hotel. The sleepover program at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum offers exclusive access and activities, such as a private showing of the IMAX film “Born to be Wild.” The adventure continues when guests camp out for the evening underneath Phoenix the whale in Ocean Hall – imagine the kinds of dreams that will take place! The “Night at the Museum” package includes accommodations in our Superior Suite, free deluxe continental breakfast and four tickets to the museum – one adult and up to three children. This package requires a two night minimum and is only available to book on Friday, August 17. Tickets are selling fast! Breakfast and Wi-Fi at Capitol Hill Hotel is included for both days of the stay and is, as always, complimentary. Learn all about the sleepover at:

The Family that Spies Together, Stays Together!

Get a crash course on the history of global espionage and learn how the art of being a spy has evolved through the years. The Spy Museum offers several intriguing exhibits from “School for Spies” to extensive insight on what is known as the golden age of espionage, the Cold War. Find out about the spies that have lived among us – Oscar-winning director John Ford, Julia Child and Mata Hari, to name a few. “The Family that Spies Together, Stays Together!” is available from July 19 – October 31 and includes Superior Suite accommodations, free deluxe continental breakfast and four tickets for the Spy Museum for two adults and two children.

Because three nights are not enough − get the fourth night free!

For a long weekend − and because three nights are just not enough to explore all of what the city has to offer − guests can now book three nights at Capitol Hill Hotel and receive the fourth night free. With this package, upon check in, guests will also receive a “Capitol Hill Explorers Kit,” which includes a Capitol Hill Hotel signature bag, a picnic basket filled with snacks, and a keepsake blanket. As always, all accommodations include daily complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi.
