Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) July 19, 2012
On Friday, July 27th, Brio Tuscan Grille in Cherry Creek will host a Charity Singles Event for the victims of the recent Colorado Wildfires. Although the fires are under control, the loss for fellow Coloradans is still overwhelming and single people all over the Denver area are getting together to help. The event, sponsored by local Denver dating service, Great Expectations, will include complimentary appetizers, cocktails, door prizes, a silent auction, and a chance for single people to meet other community-spirited single professionals.
“I was looking for a way to help. This is perfect,” single Littleton resident Lauren Connors commented.
Brio Tuscan Grille is centrally located in the Cherry Creek Mall at 2500 East 1st Avenue and patrons may use any available mall parking.
“We wanted the wildfire victims to know that the people of Colorado are here for them. Our friend and former employee lost her home in the Lower North Fork Fire earlier this year and so it has been in the forefront of our thoughts and prayers”, said Dee Dee Hirsch, Director of Great Expectations. “It’s just a chance for generous-hearted people to get together, have some fun, and all for a very worthy and local cause.”
Many local Denver companies are donating items for the silent auction and items continue to pour in. “It’s so obvious by the generous donations of others, that people still want to pitch in and help”, said Brooke, Membership Manager at Great Expectations. “We have been overwhelmed by the response so far and the guest list just keeps growing.”
