Argington, a New York based manufacturer of nursery bedding, releases statement following the collaborative efforts of Wildbrain Entertainment and Habitat for Humanity in providing a family with dream bedrooms for their children.

On July 18, 2012, Argington, manufacturer of fine nursery bedding, released a statement following the collaborative efforts of Habitat for Humanity and Wildbrain Entertainment in providing a family with a makeover for the childrens’ bedrooms, commending the partnership for the kind gesture.

During the nationwide Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Tour, the production company Wildbrain Entertainment teamed up with the Greater Los Angeles Habitat for Humanity and awarded L.A. resident Amanda Jordan’s children with kid’s bedroom makeovers. The Jordan family, consisting of Amanda and her three children, had previously all slept in the same bedroom, and entered a contest in order to win the bedroom makeover via Facebook. By winning the makeover, the Jordan family children received their own Yo Gabba Gabba! themed bedroom.

The contest and makeover was conducted in part to introduce the new Yo Gabba Gabba! kids bedding product line. The makeover also featured the services of DIY designer Holly Westhoff, well known for her work as the Almost 40 Year Old Intern.

This partnership represents a continuation of the partnership that Wildbrain Entertainment has formed with Habitat for Humanity. In 2010, a dollar from every ticket sold in Habitat for Humanity city was donated to that city’s Habitat organization.

Clay Darrohn, an Argington spokesperson, feels that more collaboration like this are necessary from both a marketing and sales perspective. He says, “Helping those who are in economically disadvantaged situations isn’t just about building good public relations, it is about meeting the responsibility of helping our society as a corporation that profits from it. Argington is inspired by this generosity, and views acts of kindness such as this as a reminder that we need to continue to make products affordable for people in all different life situations.

Argington is a New York based manufacturer of fine baby furniture and nursery bedding. Proudly offering sustainable products that are organic or eco-friendly, Argington’s products are also designed with mobility and multiple uses in mind to make parents’ lives easier.
