FilesAnywhere, a leader in cloud storage and collaboration since 1999, has been nominated for the 2012 Tech Titans Emerging Company Innovation Award.

This award recognizes companies for outstanding innovation and unique accomplishments through recent or potential breakthroughs in the technology and communications industry. This recognition is awarded by The Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), the premier trade association for technology companies and service providers in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

“While there are many online file storage companies in the market right now, I feel that FilesAnywhere deserves the award due to the unique collaboration aspects it brings the market,” says nominator David Herr of Dallas-based Opus-3 Datacenter. “They have managed to deliver a platform that combines the features of collaboration, cloud storage, workflow, and mobile access in a manner that I haven't seen before.”

The most recent breakthrough that sets FilesAnywhere apart from the competition is eForms—a feature that allows users to create, deploy, and collect information quickly with custom data entry forms. “It has unlimited application for any business, and can be linked as a static webpage, extending database capabilities to all websites in the simplest way,” says Herr.

In addition to this and many features in development, FilesAnywhere provides a unique collaboration platform for all sectors of business that allows for secure file sharing, both in the office and mobile environments. Users can store, send, sync and share sensitive data with total assurance. Its virtual business model increases user productivity and deliver significant savings compared to alternative IT solutions.

“We are thrilled to be nominated for the Emerging Company Innovation Award,” says Shayne Mehringer, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at FilesAnywhere. “We are dedicated to continuously improving our powerful, paperless technologies to help businesses move data more efficiently, and contribute to a greener planet.”

Finalists for the award will be announced Friday in the Dallas Business Journal. The winner will be recognized at the 12 annual Tech Titans Awards Gala, August 24th at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.
