Fourteen delightful stories are served on a silver platter by author Rosalind James in The Adventures of Bertie Bunny. Each Bertie Bunny story is certainly a pleasure to read— the tales soothes, spooks, and tickles readers, both the young and the old.

Bertie Bunny loves to hop (no pun intended) from one charming place to another and soak in the sights as much as he can. Page after page, readers are taken to where Bertie Bunny goes; he jumps on a spaceship heading to the moon, he rides an airplane for the first time to Switzerland, and Bertie tags along to a fair. Sprinkled throughout the book are nuggets of wisdom that Bertie learns from his experiences, and as young readers gobble each chunk of the stories, they surely are to keep the nuggets with them, too.

James has crafted a collection of stories poised to become a heavy favorite in the juvenile fiction genre. At equal turns heartwarming and captivating. The Adventures of Bertie Bunny perfectly blends with a warm glass of milk and a soft pillow at night.

The Adventures of Bertie Bunny will be featured at the 2012 American Library Association Annual Book Exhibit in Anaheim, Calif. on June 22-25, 2012.
