The Prospero Foundation, founded by Ulrik DeBo of DeBondo Capital, is excited to announce it has formed a partnership with The Nadia Plesner Foundation to help develop an orphanage and school in Tanzania.

Hezekia Mwalugaja established the Hananasif Orphanage Centre (HOCET) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 2002. It doubled in size as word spread of his unique philosophy of mobilizing local support and educating the children to invest in their lives. In 2007, they opened a secondary school with very little financial support allowing them to extend their help to other under-privileged kids in the area, but with little more than a roof over their heads.

The Nadia Plesner foundation, a non-profit organization in Denmark, has worked with HOCET for the past 2 years, initially shipping a container of donated school furniture, school bags, and toys, in co-operation with a Danish high school, and has since remained closely involved with the project.

The Prospero Foundation, together with The Nadia Plesner Foundation, plans to help HOCET extend their current building to house 40 more orphans and move the school onsite over the next 12 months as well support HOCET in their agricultural self-sustainable efforts.

The main goal for everyone involved in this project is to open opportunities for the most disadvantaged children in the area.

About The Prospero Foundation
The Prospero Foundation is a private, international charitable foundation founded by Ulrik DeBo. Mr. DeBo, a lifelong entrepreneur, whose upbringing and eventual success in the finance industry, through his company DeBondo Capital Ltd, gave him the relevant experience and insight required.

The foundation is run by a global network of entrepreneurs, who raise funds privately amongst their business contacts, and choose to invest them using a 'pay-it-forward' philosophy to focus on charitable projects that promise to perpetuate a chain reaction of positive growth opportunities for individuals and local communities for generations to come.

It is a foundation that empowers citizens to help themselves and those around them.
