Clements Worldwide, leading provider of international insurance solutions, proudly announces Tarun Chopra’s Rising Star recognition at the Washington Business Journal CFO awards. The annual awards honor local financial executives who demonstrate a vision for operational best practices, outstanding finance management, and exceptional fiscal leadership.

Selected by a panel of independent judges, Chopra was individually acknowledged as a top financial leader in the Washington D.C. area. Chopra credits this significant achievement to the contributions of his committed staff and effective teamwork at Clements Worldwide. He comments, “This recognition is very much a reflection of the team’s cumulative efforts in delivering the strong results that make Clements a key player in the global insurance market.”

Since joining Clements as CFO in 2010, Chopra has played an instrumental role in the company’s tremendous global success. With skillful management of Clements’ financial direction, Chopra has propelled the international insurer forward by contributing to consistently strong growth revenue, earnings, and cash flow.

In early 2011, Chopra spearheaded Clements’ global expansion strategy with the successful acquisition of a London-based insurance business. Chopra remains focused on broadening Clements’ global footprint with expansion plans that include a Dubai office later this year.

“As Clements’ international client base and global presence continue to grow, the demands and responsibilities placed on Tarun continue to increase,” says Clements’ president Chris Beck. “As a top-notch professional, he has an acute ability to see the bigger picture, and meets each challenge head-on, making Clements an even stronger company in the process. We are incredibly proud of his well-deserved award.”
