Did you know that swimming is the 4th most popular sport or activity in the United States, but 65% of Americans don't know how to swim? Even worse, 17% admit to peeing in swimming pools.

These numbers are shocking, and Swim University has put together a colorful infographic that illustrates theses and other interesting facts and statistics about the all-mighty swimming pool.

If you thought a swimming pool was just a body of water in a backyard or public park somewhere, think again! They are much more complex than that, and swimmers themselves are even more complex.
