BJU Press is partnering with Christian Book Distributors (CBD) to promote the new Distance Learning Flash Drive to homeschoolers. The new flash drive gives homeschoolers a new, innovative way to receive BJU Press Distance Learning content. CBD unveiled the new distance-learning product in their summer/fall 2012 homeschool catalog.

BJU Press Distance Learning Flash Drive is now available for shipping through Christian Book Distributors. The flash drive is designed to allow homeschoolers to carry learning around in their pockets, giving them another option in twenty-first century possibilities. BJU Press is partnering with Christian Book Distributors to promote the new product, and as a result, CBD holds exclusive rights to distribute.

BJU Press has been creating distance-learning products and resources that cater to Christian and homeschool markets since the 1990s. To meet the needs of Christian high schools, BJ LINC began broadcasting live, interactive classes using BJU Press secondary materials in 1995. In 1997, BJ HomeSat began creating programs with BJU Press elementary materials to meet the demand from homeschooling families for quality teaching support geared to their needs.

BJU Press now offers four distance-learning options to homeschoolers: Distance Learning Online, Distance Learning on Hard Drive, Distance Learning on DVD, and the Distance Learning Flash Drive. The flash drive will not replace any other products but will serve as another exciting option for home educators. Each USB is sold by subject, making customizing a child’s learning experience easier. And unlike other distance-learning products available for lease only, homeschoolers will be able to purchase and keep their flash drives. Currently, there are 32 BJU Press distance-learning subjects available on the USB flash drive.

While BJU Press created the content for the Distance Learning flash drive and packaged it, CBD holds exclusive rights to distribute the flash drive. It can be purchased through or CBD’s summer/fall 2012 homeschool catalog. The corresponding curriculum kit is included in the price.

BJU Press exists to encourage Christian character in students and promote academic excellence through the provision of K4–grade 12 educational materials and support services. In addition to textbooks and materials, BJU Press offers homeschool testing services, distance-learning programs, and multiple homeschool resources.
