Knoxville, TN (PRWEB) July 19, 2012
Jewelry Television®, the nation’s largest retailer of loose gemstones, will showcase some of the world’s rarest gems during the Exotic World of Gemstones event, July 20 through 22. This special gemstone sale event will feature the retailer’s most popular gemstones as well as rare, collectible stones, many of which are difficult to find in traditional retail outlets.
During the event, JTV will showcase some of its most popular gemstones, such as morganite, chrome diopside, mystic topaz and sapphire. Another exciting element of the event will be the launch of sillimanite jewelry. Sillimanite is a rare collector’s gemstone with color ranging in hues from green and yellow to gray and colorless.
“Exotic gemstones are not only our specialty but a top-seller among viewers,” said Haley Maples, gemstone jewelry buyer. “We have styles for every taste and budget imaginable because we believe in giving our customers exactly what they want.”
JTV will also feature many rare gemstones, like ammolite and moldavite, set in fine gold. Ammolite was formed from rare, mineralized fossils called ammonites and each stone is unique in brilliance and color. Moldavite, an olive-green gemstone, harmonizes well with many other gemstones. Many believe this stone to be the most powerful of all gemstones, providing energy and transformation to the owner.
“When preparing for an event like this, our buyers travel the globe in search of rare and exotic gemstones, and we take every aspect into consideration,” said Tom Ahles, director of gemstone merchandise planning and vendor relations. “Whether we find the world’s most popular gemstone or one that is exclusive to us, we put the time into making sure each one is of the highest grade and quality, and then we use our international buying power to negotiate the best prices for our customers.”
