Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 19, 2012
Sponsored by the historic Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC), iconic footwear designer Jeffrey Campbell, and some of Los Angeles’ top brands, (Elizabeth and James, Current Elliot, Skin Graft and more) along with Los Angeles’ top influencers and fashionistas will converge for a fashion/retail experience like never before in downtown LA. This three part event will begin with a VIP rooftop reception & live model installation, featuring a collection from legendary British designer Vivienne Westwood’s “Ethical for Africa Project” which helps financially sustain impoverished African countries by taking fashion manufacturing into their communities. A 60 foot runway presentation will then open to the public inside LAAC’s grand ballroom which will feature 40 looks from Brigade LA’s fall in-store must-haves. And finally the after party held at Brigade’s flagship store, spun by DJ J1der, will spotlight works from some of LA’s top emerging fashion photographers.
"Brigade LA is focused on 'LA', and particularly how we can contribute to fashion thriving in the downtown area," states Kuo Yang, Brigade LA’s owner. "With so much of Los Angeles' estimated $42 billion industry’s creative teams, showrooms, designers, manufactures and distributors located here, it is not only an economic imperative, but also socially and culturally relevant to bring Vogue’s global retail/fashion initiative to downtown for the first time, and do it in a big way."
Fashion's Night Out: Brigade LA is supported by downtown's elite retail and restaurant establishments along the 7th St. corridor, including Bottega Louie, Mas Malo, Nehielu, Bar Seven, Soi 7, Seven Grand, and MO-CHICA. Attendees will have the opportunity to cash in on all the exclusive deals created for this not to be missed event.
Celebrity guests will be announced in the coming weeks. For more information on Brigade LA Fashion's Night Out, please visit: http://www.BrigadeLA.com
